Following USPTO, JPO, KPO and EPO, China SIPO became the fifth patent authority enjoying a Patent Electronic Examination System which is in full contact with the Gig E System.

According to the SIPO plan, a more efficient and open information system will be established for offering better services to the public and internal users. The system is aimed at providing a centralized electronic platform for linking up everything connected with all the patent examination proceedings.
